Call for Inspiration!

Hey LadyLifters... time to step up and share!
Let us know of your ongoing goals and triumphs, large or small. Give us a one sentence bullet or a nice elaborate summary of all that you have set your sights on and achieved this summer.
I will post my focus as soon as I get a moment to sit and type it out...
I am looking forward to hearing from my friends in Heidelberg, Carlisle and in Yongsan... It's time to start sharing and supporting one another:-)
Love, Tracey

Well, the one goal I've set for the next year is to get my Black Belt in TaeKwonDo. The mental challenge is almost bigger than the physical. But it is a great workout and a great stress reliever!! I started class at Trent in July and am already at 2nd degree yellow and hope to achieve blue this month. We'll see how it goes!! Thanks, Tracey, for your encouragement.

Gigi,
I am so thrilled that you have such an awesome goal and that you find the positive benefit in your TKD workout. You are actively enjoying the process of working out and have achieved a level of fitness that most never do. You are going to earn your blackbelt in the coming year and I will be there to cheer you on the day that you go for it!

Hello Fellow LadyLifters around the world (especially Yongsan). I sure miss the social aspect of my trips to the gym while I'm here in the US with our son. My workouts here are good. I continue to feel the progress in my energy level, sleep patterns, and in my overall fitness. I only brought a few clothes with me from Korea but I can definitely feel a difference in the way they fit. YEAH!!! What I'm not feeling is the comaraderie I feel at Collier. I like the facility we're using and I love the difference the workouts are making in our son's health, both physical and emotional. I sure do miss seeing others with the LLF clipboards, and the kind words of encouragement. Mostly I miss those wonderful smiles that come from the feeling of sisterhood among the LadyLifters. So please, until November (when I hope to return to Korea) smile an extra smile for me everytime you complete a good workout.

Tracey, you're the best...thanks for reaching around the world to change lives. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to share my goals...Let's just say that it involves that little tape measure you carry in your bag. My goal is for you to need less of it at my next evaluation.

Missing Korea,
Sue

Sue,
Your words lend such positive insight and inspiration to all of us who are working so diligently to make ourselves as healthy as we can possibly be. You have been without the direct support of your friends and workout buds but you're relying on all that you have been taught in the gym and also on your network of friends that carry the Mighty Clipboard:-) You are simply awesome!!
I find it so wonderful to be able to reach out, connect and support one another. Keep up the pace and take care of your son (and yourself) in fine style... and we will be waiting anxiously for your return to the ol' stompin' grounds at Collier!

Love You and Miss You Too Sue!
